About Us

Background

The lack of student research organization in Trisakti's medical faculty compelled a handful of people to form the organization, and thus, in March the 22nd 2012 the organization was "born". Nowadays it is imperative to do research activity to compete globally. It will make benefits of course not only for the student, faculty or university themselves, but for the nation in entirety. Now, for us, even though progress is relatively slow, we believe in a promising future.

In the column on the right you'll find various organizations within the medical faculty, we consider them our 'sister organizations.'
But, not all of them are research organizations. The BEM and PARLEMEN is a bureaucracy bodies as you may know. The TBMT specializes in the practical areas of medicine, their activities tends to employ paramedical skills and thus an escapism for students from daily life of lectures and theories to engaging 'search-and-rescue' type activities. The AMSA is a student body, branched from AMSA international, their activities includes holding conferences, international competitions, relieve efforts and all sorts of activities to strengthen the bonds between Asian medical students. The SENAPATI and TRIMEDIKA are performing art groups, the former specializes in traditional-cultural dances while the latter is a choir group, providing the students an escapism yet again from daily medicine-related things.

We love the arts as much as we love the science of medicine and it has come to an understanding for many people that medicine is an art itself. Even though we're fundamentally different with these organizations, we're looking forward to work-together and help each other in any way we can.
